I tried to make a reservation via booking.com, but when I did not get a confirmation email from them, I telephoned the hotel directly. Due to the time of day, I spoke to a gentleman who I believe to be the night porter, who took my contact details and said that I would be called the next morning. The following morning I was telephoned by a lady called Orla, who booked me in immediately. I was very impressed by their efficiency, and would highly commend both of these staff members - they are a credit to your establishment! The accommodation was excellent, with the beds being particularly comfortable.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
We were in room 106, and the toilet flush mechanism emitted a weird loud almost howling sound as the water left the cistern. I feel that there should be an channel number leaflet for the TV, and that it would be good to have the RTE News channel included.

Comfortable room ,comfy beds, very nice breakfast, staff very friendly and efficient, very good value for money Easy access to town,

The bathroom was a bit lacking, Not comfortable with shower in bath from a safety issue, we are over 60 & 70. Hence reason perhaps,

The staff were very friendly, the food was good, and the bed was very comfortable. It was ideal for sitting outside with a glass of wine on a sunny day.

The room was spacious but, because the windows were so small, it was very dark even on a sunny day.

We stayed here as a group of 13 for a 30th birthday party. The hotel is absolutely immaculate & set within walking distance from other local attractions. Super staff & nice to see all local. We ate in the bar, the food & service was 100%. & very reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this fabulous hotel.

No reading light in bedroom, no view from window, broken slates and debris lying on flat roof outside bedroom window.

The Corridor in from Car Park. As you walk in to Reception from Street only tasty bites part of Menu shown discovered by chance the full Dinner options which were very tasty.

The location and staff were wonderful. Book in was fast efficient and desk staff were friendly and very helpful. My room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The extra touches like biscuits, bottle water ect were so nice. Very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was adequate but selection of danish/pastries ect were small sized and limited. Public area were a little dated but very cosy and clean.

Comfort of accommodation and staff friendliness.

The canopy was not opened in time to stop the rain from soaking everything (chairs/tables and cushions) at front of hotel 🏨. The awning should have been opened in anticipation of the rain. It was forecast.
