Very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms with a lovely breakfast. Great location for travelling to Westport Castlebar and Achill.

Good central location for touring around, friendly staff, nice breakfast large room, comfy beds and pillows. Nice reception area, bar & restaurant.

Room furniture could do with an upgrade. More choices of coffee at breakfast.

Lovely hotel and lovely,pleasant staff.was very happy with my room and having a,bath was great bonus.great value for money in this day and age and superb food

Location, staff, rooms.

Room was noisy in the morning (not your fault) and varied continental breakfast selection didn't include hot items. We stayed in a fantastic Mayo place for €10 less the previous night which had a complimentary hot breakfast menu. Also bar staff checking us in at 5pm. He was very competent but double jobbing.

Lovely village and people very friendly, staff also very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be back !!

Breakfast wasn’t great , limited what was available , but not the end of the world either !!

I first stayed in Newport many years ago while fishing in the area and have stayed in a number of places in the town since. Hotel Newport is where we always stay now when visiting the area as it is in an excellent location, First point of contact is important and ringing to enquire about a room I found staff helpful and friendly as they were throughout our short stay. The rooms are comfortable, and rates are very reasonable.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
This is not a criticism but may be helpful. There is a great range of food to choose from on the breakfast buffet but fresh bread rolls would be nice and also if sachets of tomato sauce and mayonnaise could be left out.

It was so comfortable. Friendly Atmosphere Great location.for vists. to Mulranny. Achill .and all sightseeing areas.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. and told our family it's worth a visit.....All staff so friendly and helpful. no Complaints atall.
