Most enjoyable Hotel break.We regularly take Hotel breaks and this Hotel we rate as the best we have stayed in .Staff friendly and helpful..Room was first class and the food was excellent This Hotel biggest Asset is that it has the personal touch where nothing is too much for the customer..Above all Customer service and great communication skills of staff is it's biggest asset..

Every thing, it was centrally located, an excellent base, and the property was excellent, the staff were very helpful and friendly they couldn’t do enough for us.

This is a lovely quiet Hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. While not a fan of the continental breakfast there is a very good selection provided. However the lunch and evening food served here is excellent with particular emphasis on the seafood chowder which is second to none. In general there is a lovely atmosphere in the Hotel. It is conveniently located to cover visits to Achill, Castlebar, Westport and beyond.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
My only negative would be the lack of a cooked breakfast but this would not be a "game changer".

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Was here with 8 friends- Perfect location for Croagh Patrick hike and exploring area Blacksod lighthouse -brilliant the tour not to be missed Solas visitor centre excellent Newport lovely town nice shops, pubs and restaurants, the Hotel was clean warm and rooms lovely but most of all the Staff were so friendly nothing was a hassle- Thank you Mary and all the Staff

Plenty of parking . Clean comfortable and great bed . Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful 👌.

We stayed one night in your lovely hotel.All your staff so friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Lovely surprise to have a hot breakfast in the morning. It was very much appreciated and very tasty.

The staff were all fantastic.. Very helpful and friendly.

A little pricey... upstairs whilst comfortable is in need of attention..damaged doors..tired carpets...Shower curtains????? We were repeatedly locked out of our room due to key issues.

The bed wS comfortable , the food was good and the staff were lovely

The smell of fresh paint in certain areas and being far too warm one night as we couldn’t control the temperature in the bedroom

Comfortable spotless room with generous ensuite. Lovely dining room with a great choice for breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location with lots to see and do e.g. greenway for safe cycling in lovely countryside, historic building close by e.g. Newport Church, via duct, Burrishoole Abbey and Rockfleet Castle/
