Staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Choice at continental breakfast was excellent.

Having to use bar entry snd exit in the evenings to get to the car park. i know its only because the festival was on - but it is akward to have to go around the outside when its raining.

Good location for touring Achill, Ballina, Castlebar and Westport. Great Restaurant. We took a suite and this came with a jacuzzi bath.

A wee bit dated and some love and care needed, but this did not take from our stay.

Good value, nice little town, helpful staff, comfortable bed,spacious room.

Some loud noise several times during the night from inside hotel like a boiler or something mechanical

This is my second time staying in the hotel. The best attribute the hotel has is undoubtedly the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful. It definitely would encourage people to go back.

There was a very minor blip. On the information page in the room it stated that the restaurant stopped serving at 9pm, whereas it is actually 8pm, so the first night we were too late. The page needs amended. As I said not a major issue.

Staff friendly. Beautiful airy rooms. Two windows which was valuable comfortable bed. Very clean

We enjoyed our stay at Newport Hotel. Great location and nice and quiet at night.

The hotel was ideally located for our short weekend stay in Mayo, free off street parking takes away the worry of trying to locate a safe parking space elsewhere. Great selection of foods provided at breakfast together with a good choice of meals from the bar/restaurant menu.

Mens toilets on the ground floor had no facility to dry your hands ( both electric dryers not working), Toilet cistern on refilling after a flush makes quite a noisy racket, room below on level 1 has the same issue!

Nice hotel, quiet and relaxing location, lovely staff at reception breakfast and bar.

Would have liked the option for a hot breakfast, but this is only a slight criticism as I still throughly enjoyed the continental breakfast.

The hotel was very central and ample car parking We didn't have food in the hotel and we enjoyed the breakfast The selection was perfect and during a heatwave (unusual for us) it proved adequate.The TV in our room was limited to a few stations.and a helpful bar man got it tuned back again.We are not tech minded.We will return again to explore your beautiful country.Kylemore a favourite.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, plenty to eat at breakfast. Hotel location is ideal base for visiting Achill Island, Croagh Patrick, Nephin National Park, and only 10 minutes from Westport.

Travelling for business i booked one night at Hotel Newport and I look forward to coming back. Very helpful staff, secure parking amazing food and a very comfortable room. Highly Recommended
