What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Location of hotel is excellent in the middle of Newport. Nice bar and availability of food in the bar.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Beware Room 102 located between the lift and the main road. Impossible to sleep on our first night....listening to the lift on one side and monitoring the traffic flow on the other! The receptionist very kindly moved us to Room 112 on the second night....different experience and a great sleep. Would stay again.

Everything there was nothing we did not like was so lovely very clean and continental breakfast was excellent lots of choices def 5 stars

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
The room was clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. The continental style breakfast was excellent. We dined in the bar at night & found the service great and the food very good, with some interesting choices.

Nothing. It was all good & I would stay again.

Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable seating areas. Great location. Very nice breakfast choices

Bedroom was far too dark. Almost impossible to read which is very disappointing when on holidays. Roast beef choice on dinner menu was just about ok but the service was excellent

All staff were friendly and helpful eg where to visit, restaurants etc Breakfast was lovely. Hotel very clean and bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Great location as close to many other places worth visiting.

Great location to explore the area, comfortable spacious rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Evening meals there is a decent choice with nightly specials.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Please can you stop people smoking at the front of the hotel, the smell rises into the rooms and also into the reception area.

Everything. From arrival, the hotel and more importantly the staff were amazing. Every aspect of the stay was a pleasure. Lovely, lovely hotel. Great location. dELIGHTED.

Perfect location and the room was perfect. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Large and bright rooms, with very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast with wide choice. Great value. But your biggest asset is your staff, very friendly and still professional. Lady on reception is just brilliant and the breakfast team were so efficient and friendly All staff made us feel so welcome. They seem very happy so well done. I lecture HRM so well done.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Small issues. Lobby and lounge need a refresh. Cobwebs in corners and tables were marked and a bit "sticky" when we had dinner. Patio area out front needs weeding. Fresh water in rooms each day would be a nice thing, not just for first day. WiFi needs upgrade, very weak in room. Car park on night of festival had groups of teenagers, drinking and breaking bottles. I was okay but some might find that intimidating. Back entrance, yard is a bit grotty .
