It was all very good. The room was big and clean. Checked on every day with new tea and biscuits, fresh towels etc…..

Not a lot of parking spaces at the back/ underground. You need to get there early.

The bedroom was spacious. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. . Food was great & staff were very courteous.

Hotel Newport is situated in a lovely little town,only 7 mins by car from the hussle and bussle of Westport.lovely pubs in newport .hotel does a fabulous continental breakfast, you'd never leave hungry...loads of FREE parking at hotel. Staff are very welcoming..rooms lovely, loads of toiliteries, big white fluffy towels..food in bar very tasty and reasonably priced..I'd highly recommend hotel newport.. mulranny with its beautiful beach is only a short drive away.

Nothing to dislike, everything was perfect

We were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome and offered tea or coffee on arrival. Our room was an accessible room which I booked. Very clean and plenty of room to get around. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast spread. Plenty of gluten free and non dairy milks. We had great comradery with the lady at the desk,she was super woman as she didn't just man the desk.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
We had a leak in the bathroom. Had I not got the rollator to stop me from slipping I could have ended up having a bad fall .If my husband had gone in first he could have slipped on the wet floor. It was dealt with immediately by a staff member. It needs to be professionally dealt with. Several times during our stay there was a very loud noise that sounded like an air lock, it was very annoying when we were trying to sleep.

We enjoyed the hospitality of the staff. The rooms were very comfortable and the beds are amazing. The hotel itself was just lovely. We enjoyed staying in the village and walking around. Its very beautiful viaduct and the stain glass windows by Harry Clark in the local Church.

Very accessible re touring mayo,,Staff very friendly,,Easy parking..Room comfortable,,,Shower very good...This was my third time to stay in hotel...That speaks for itself...

A small “ IF”. Not really a complaint ,No yogurt available for fruit on one morning, A pity as fruit was very nice and fresh,,,Dining room busy ,a good sign, Just a small issue,,breakfast very good overall, No shortage otherwise,,Staff very accommodating,

Location was good . Parking was also no problem.

Great location , Westport, Achill and Croagh Patrick are all within a short distance from the hotel.

Staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Choice at continental breakfast was excellent.

Having to use bar entry snd exit in the evenings to get to the car park. i know its only because the festival was on - but it is akward to have to go around the outside when its raining.

Good location for touring Achill, Ballina, Castlebar and Westport. Great Restaurant. We took a suite and this came with a jacuzzi bath.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
A wee bit dated and some love and care needed, but this did not take from our stay.
