The room was lovely, clean and quite. The evening dinner was excellent
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
The breakfast was very disappointing. The room didn't have an iron after it was advertised as having one. There was no telephone in the room to contact reception. So i had to go down to reception to get an iron brought to the room. I don't mean to be complaining but i just think little touches make a big difference

No hot breakfeast in the morning but the Cold Buffet Breakfast was nice.

Convenience. Large room. Comfortable bed. Some GF options at breakfast: the seed bread was nicer than it looked.

The staff are always courteous and friendly. Without exception. It feels like coming home to me. I have recommended it to my family and others. It’s very good value. Nothing is too much trouble, it’s one of my favourite places. Thank you to all.

Excellent accommodation in Room and also meals. Above all friendlies off staff from housekeeper..reception. Chef and Bar staff.We are regular Hotel users and this has become our favourite Hotel for all above reasons as well as affordable and beautiful scenic area.

Staff really friendly. Good food in bistro.

Lighting in bedroom was bad. Bulbs missing, told manager , sadly nothing happened!

Spacious room and very affordable. Check in very smooth.

While the room was very lovely, it was very loud with the sound of chairs being dragged every hour in between midnight and 3am despite it being a week night. Lack of vegan options with breakfast

Loved the location, in quaint Newport. The woman at the front desk (so sorry, I'm terrible with names) was soooo helpful, from her knowledge of Irish traditions to the local landscape. We were looking for a home on Achill and spent a great amount of time there, but we also ventured out to the Ceide fields, the DownPatrick head and headed through Louisburg, driving south. She guided us to the Delphi valley and the Burren. Truly a wealth of knowledge and guidance. The room was warm and spacious (we were traveling in early February and it had been chilly in other places we stayed). The breakfasts were great ans so were all the staff -witers/waitresses, bar tenders, cleaning people. Overall it was a great experience!

Staff were excellent, location ideal. We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast.

I felt that the bath was too narrow for the shower, the shower curtain took up alot of the shower space! Also as the sink was connected to the bath, both the floor and sink area were drenched after our showers.
