What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Location was perfect as a base for exploring Achill and Nephin National park. Centrally located in Newport with ample free parking,and excellent value. The staff were relaxed, friendly and so welcoming . A gem of a hotel I'd be delighted to stay in again.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
My only issue was I couldn't get the bedroom cool enough for my liking despite turning off the heat and opening windows.

We changed our booking to 2 bedrooms and were delighted with our rooms.. Very comfortable beds and pillows, room lovely and warm.. Food delicious for our evening meal and a lovely continental breakfast. All staff very welcoming and efficient. We will be back!

Every member of staff we met were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Fantastic options for a continental breakfast, couldn't fault it. Great options for food in the bar, very tasty, well priced and great portion sizes. Lovely cosy bar with again fantastic staff.

Very little not to like. Yes the decor could do with a bit of updating, carpets looking a bit tired and paint chips in some areas but overall the hotel is comfortable and offers everything you need for a quiet get away from the hustle and bustle.

The location was perfec center of village . Staff very helpful . Josh the breakfast waiter amazing.mary aine john Andrew very helpful. The restaurant was good value. Amazing art works and paintings and decore. Realy made exploring the area very comfortable as quality and bath great food fuel energy for trips. Thank you. MARTIN

I felt that the breakfast had improved from last year. The cleaning staff were very good and friendly, so we're the bar lads.

The structure above us was creaking a lot with the windy nights, as if it was under immense stress. The bathroom grouting could do with a bit of a clean.
