Breakfast wasn’t great , limited what was available , but not the end of the world either !!

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
I first stayed in Newport many years ago while fishing in the area and have stayed in a number of places in the town since. Hotel Newport is where we always stay now when visiting the area as it is in an excellent location, First point of contact is important and ringing to enquire about a room I found staff helpful and friendly as they were throughout our short stay. The rooms are comfortable, and rates are very reasonable.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
This is not a criticism but may be helpful. There is a great range of food to choose from on the breakfast buffet but fresh bread rolls would be nice and also if sachets of tomato sauce and mayonnaise could be left out.

It was so comfortable. Friendly Atmosphere Great location.for vists. to Mulranny. Achill .and all sightseeing areas.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. and told our family it's worth a visit.....All staff so friendly and helpful. no Complaints atall.

Fantastic hotel, the room was very comfortable and cleaned every day. The breakfast was good and enjoyable. WiFi excellent. The staff were absolutely fantastic and make this hotel, friendly, efficient and they went above and beyond. We ate at the hotel and the food was excellent and great value for money. We had a great stay, thank you.

The receptionist went over and beyond to help us Orla was such a beautiful lady and would. Come back again All the staff were helpful also The rooms were spotless Will definitely. Come back to the Newport Hotel hotel.

It was clean, comfortable, firm bed, adequate breakfast.

Signage for parking could be better, parking spaces could be marked out so more cars could fit in.

As it was my son who stayed and not me i can only go on what he said,he liked the bedroom and the peace as he had not been well,he knows newport well having lived here for a year a decade ago.

He felt the breakfast lacked some nutrients and the bathroom light didnt work....

Good location ,food in the bar was good, continental breakfast had a good selection.

TV in my room not working. That said I did not advise hotel of this as I had my laptop with me.

Quiet and tranquil location with a lift, Good sized room, lovely breakfast and very friendly and cheerful staff Would love to visit again!
